The Greatest Inheritance is a heart-warming and entertaining family friendly movie that guides us towards the Kingdom of Heaven and encourages us to use the gifts God has given us.
The film follows Four estranged siblings who embark on the scavenger hunt of a lifetime when they find out their mother’s will is hidden on her property. The person who finds the will inherits the estate. Will the DuBose siblings continue to bicker or will their mom’s plan to reunite them and focus their attention on their true inheritance in Heaven succeed?
This is another well written and well directed film from the talented team of Alexandra Boylan, Andrea Polnaszek and John K.D. Graham at Mustard Seed Entertainment who have previously brought us Switched and A Wish for Christmas.
The story is packed with scripture which flow through verses from Ecclesiastes as part of the ultimate scavenger hunt. This scavenger hunt leads the DuBose siblings on a journey that reconnects them not only to each other but also to Jesus, his gifts for us and the Kingdom of Heaven being our greatest inheritance and takes us on that same journey with them.
Many people will be able to connect with one of the characters, and there is a real mix, all fantastically portrayed by Jeff Schroeder, Meredith Riley Stewart, Leticia Jimenez, Jaleel White, Cameron Kelly and Mena Suvari.
This film carries such and importance and there is something for everyone in this family friendly film. Filled with emotion and humour this film will leave you with a smile on your face whilst prompting you to think about the gifts God has given you and how you can use them for His glory, about our families and relationships and making sure we keep ourselves focused on the Kingdom of God.
