The Masked Saint is set to be released on DVD and Digital HD in the UK on 23rd May 2016.
Inspired by the real life story of Chris Whaley, The Masked Saint follows the journey of former professional wrestler Chris Samuels, who retires from the ring to settle down as a small town pastor. When the pastor witnesses rampant problems in the community, he decides to moonlight as a masked vigilante fighting the injustice. While facing crises at home and at the church, the Pastor must evade the police and somehow reconcile his secret, violent identity with his calling as a pastor.
It is refreshing to see a Christian film that is different in terms of story but most refreshing is that it tackles issues that are seen today, issues that are not always dealt with. These issues are judging others and being prideful and self righteous, big issues that are dealt with in a way that is not preachy but relatable and believable. It also looks at using your God given talents for God’s glory and not our own… The Masked Saint is an exciting and truly gripping story done justice by the brilliant acting to the superb cinematography and production values, this is a brilliant and thought-provoking film. The Masked Saint is a must see and not to be missed.
