Woodlawn has made history in becoming the first faith-based movie to receive an A+ CinemaScore.
CinemaScore is the industry leader in measuring movie appeal among theatre audiences. For over 35 years, CinemaScore has been polling moviegoers to give a film score at major movie releases to calculate a distinctive CinemaScore grade.
Woodlawn received the highest CinemaScore this week, with Bridge of Spies and Goosebumps receiving an A and Crimson Peak receiving a B-. Woodlawn opened in ninth place in its opening weekend taking $4.1 million it also received 100% at Rotten Tomatoes.
Woodlawn is an awesome movie, and being a true story just adds to how incredible it is, it is a story of how love and unity overcame hate and how it still can today, it is a story of how Jesus can change lives, schools, communities and countries. It is a story of revival. Woodlawn is a must see film, it is one of the best films out right now and definitely one of the best Christian films. Woodlawn is a film for such a time as this.
