This is an extremely well produced and directed documentary from the Erwin Brothers, the film makers behind I Still Believe and I Can Only Imagine. They leave nothing off the table in the interviews and this makes for a raw, hard-hitting and candid documentary, that not only tells the story of the Christian music industry but tackles serious issues that these artists face from racial abuse through to judgemental Christians and Churches.
At the end of the day these artists are human, they have stepped out to be a light in this dark world in the music industry, they face difficulties, abuse and failures, their failures are on show for all to see, so instead of casting the first stone lets pray, lets pray for these artists. We all need the grace of God and no one is excluded, we should be treating people as Christ would treat them.
Due to the subjects that are tackled in this documentary we wouldn’t recommend this for young audiences.
