Pure Flix has released Faith of Our Fathers, a film which commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam war and those who served and died in the war.
The film starts with the Vietnam War raging in 1969 with two young fathers reporting for duty. A man of great faith and a doubtful cynic. A quarter-century later, their sons, Wayne and John Paul (David A.R. White and Kevin Downes), meet as strangers. Guided by letters handwritten from their fathers from the battlefield, they embark on an unforgettable journey to The Wall—the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. Along the way, they discover the devastation of war cannot break the love of a father for his son. A story of fatherhood. A journey of brotherhood.
The film stars Stephen Baldwin, Candace Cameron Bure, Rebecca St. James, Kevin Downes, David A.R. White and Si Robertson.
Faith of Our Fathers is a film that commemorates those that served in the Vietnam way but it is much more, it shares the journey of fatherhood, of brotherhood, friendships and relationships, it shares of those who died for freedom but most importantly shares Jesus who died for our true freedom from sin and death.
