RISEN is an epic re-telling of Jesus’ resurrection as seen through the eyes of an unbeliever. It follows Clavius, a high-ranking Roman military tribune and his aide Lucius, who are instructed by Pontius Pilate to ensure that Jesus’ radical followers don’t steal His body and claim resurrection. When the body goes missing within days, Clavius’ mission is to find the body, dispel rumors of a risen Messiah and prevent an uprising in Jerusalem.

Please could you let me know where ‘Risen’ is being shown in the Leeds and Bradford areas..
Hi Peter,
Just been searching for you, sadly a lot of cinemas have stopped showing Risen with the last showing at Leeds-Bradford Odeon Sat 2nd April. However I have found that closest cinema to you still showing Risen is the Showcase Cinema in Manchester till Thursday: http://www.showcasecinemas.co.uk/films/risen
Hope that helps and you get to see Risen
Hi I have seen the film in Redruth Cornwall and would love to see it again. Is it going to be shown at any small cinemas or film events anywhere in Cornwall please. Also when can I expect it out on dvd.
Hi Linda,
Thank you for getting in touch, at the moment we have no news on if the film will be show at any events in Cornwall, but if and when it does (we hope it will as we are based in Cornwall too) we will make sure to report it on the site. The UK DVD release date has not yet been confirmed, but we expect it to be released around June time, but again as soon as we know we will report it. If you are on Facebook or Twitter you can follow us to keep updated http://www.facebook.com/TCFReview or http://www.twitter.com/TCFReview or keep checking back on this site.
I was hoping to see the Risen film in Dorset – Dorchester or Yeovil would be best or somewhere near. Would you be able to advise? Nicholas Applebee
Hi Nicholas,
Unfortunately the cinema run for RISEN has now finished but the DVD will be out on July 25th here in the UK, and is available to pre-order: Click here to pre-order RISEN on DVD.
Sorry that there are no cinema showings now, but I hope you get to see it when its out on DVD.
