Jesus Revolution is being released in UK Cinemas on June 23rd! The hit US film from the Erwin Brothers, reached number three in the US box office and made headlines around the US. We pray that the same happens over here in the UK.
Jesus Revolution is an outstanding and inspirational film depicting the start of the Jesus Revolution revival in the 1970s. This film really highlights that God will forgive anyone who come to Christ, no matter who they are or what they have done, and can use anyone to help spread His word. Read our full review
The film is based on a true story and follows a young Greg Laurie who is searching for all the right things in all the wrong places: until he meets Lonnie Frisbee, a charismatic hippie-street-preacher. Together with Pastor Chuck Smith, they open the doors of Smith’s languishing church to an unexpected revival of radical and newfound love, leading to what TIME Magazine dubbed a JESUS REVOLUTION.
The UK has been waiting a long time for this film to be released over here, and we need to get behind it and support the release, we need to pack the cinemas and make this the biggest release in the UK. Get your Churches involved, spread the word, book out cinema showings, give tickets away, not only does this film have the potential to change lives but with enough support it will open the door for other Christian films to be released here in the UK.
