Gavin pretends to be a Christian so that he can land the part of Jesus in their annual Easter Passion Play, only to discover that the most important role of his life is far from the bright lights of Hollywood. Along the way, he reconnects with his past and builds upon his faith.
The film stars Brett Dalton (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Anjelah Johnson-Reyes (Our Family Wedding), Neil Flynn (The Middle and Scrubs), WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels and D.B. Sweeney (The Cutting Edge and Taken 2).
The Resurrection of Gavin Stone is written by Andrea Nasfell (Moms’ Night Out) and directed by Dallas Jenkins (producer of What If… and Hometown Legend) and founder of Vertical Church Films. The film is the collaboration of WWE studios and BH TILT in association with Walden Media, Vertical Church Films, and Power in Faith Productions.
