Our Full Review

Believe is an inspiring, heart warming unmissable movie that prompts us to social action and to remember to have faith as a child.

The film follows Matthew Peyton who inherited the family business. For years the small town of Grundy relied on the Peyton family to provide the annual Christmas pageant, the highlight of the year. The responsibility of the Christmas pageant has fallen onto Matthew’s shoulders but as financial hardships fall on the town, he finds himself overwhelmed. As his business profits plummet and his workers strike, Matthew is forced to make a decisions between selling the family business and cancelling the beloved pageant or sticking out hardships despite his popularity in the community rapidly declining. Though a series of chance events, Matthew meets Clarence, a boy who believes in miracles, and his mother Sharon. His newfound friends impact his life in a way he never thought possible and teach him to believe and give faith a chance.

Believe is a fantastic film, though it only had a small budget, the direction and production is excellent alongside some great acting from Ryan O’Quinn, Danielle Nicolet, Kevin Sizemore and Issac Ryan Brown (who plays the heart-warming and excitable Clarence) and a gripping storyline makes this a movie not to miss.

The storyline as said is extremely gripping, full of drama, plenty of twists and turns and some laugh out loud moments, you will be on the edge of your seat and captivated by this film. This film is set at Christmas time, which provides the backdrop to the story and shows how faith and believing are important and why, in essence the message is woven through the film wonderfully that anyone can watch this and take something away with them whilst enjoying the film.

Overall Believe is a wonderful, heart warming and inspirational film, one of the most exciting and best Christmas films to date that will have you laughing and on the edge of your seat with a message of faith and social change, it may prompt you to look at Christmas a little differently this year.

Believe is not to be missed.
