Flywheel: Ignition of the Soul is the new remake of Flywheel, the film that launched the Kendrick Brothers’ ministry. This faith filled and life changing film is definitely worth watching.

Set in Rio de Janeiro, the new film follows Noah Silva, a smooth-talking, used-car salesman whose “do-whatever-it-takes” approach to business and life begins to unravel at home and at work. After a series of wake-up calls, Noah is forced to confront the cost of his choices. He begins a difficult and deeply personal journey to restore his integrity while trying to win back the hearts of his wife and son.

For those of you who have seen he original Flywheel, this story will feel very familiar, though there are some differences, but don’t let that put you off, if you’ve already seen the original, then go see this new version, and take your friends and family along too. As with the original and with all Kendrick Brothers’ movies this is filled full of faith, it has a strong story and has the potential to change lives.

This version of Flywheel has been reimagined by Brazilian filmmakers under the guidance of the Kendrick Brothers, igniting a faith based film production in Brazil. The English version of the film is dubbed, but is done very well and does not distract.

Overall it is incredible to see how far God has taken the Kendrick Brothers’ ministry in terms of global reach and impact and also in terms of production value and quality. Flywheel: Ignition of the Soul is a fantastic film that will have you questioning how you live your life for Jesus, not just a little but fully, being honest in all that we do, surrendering to Him and shining His light in all you do.
