Our Full Review

An Angelic Christmas is an uplifting, enjoyable and heart-warming family friendly, faith based Christmas film, bringing themes of hope, forgiveness and redemption.

The film follows two girls (Delainey and Loren) and their mother (Samantha) who have just moved to a small town in time for Christmas. Upon arrival though, they are not very well received, the town seems to be lacking Christmas spirit and money is short. Feeling lost and wondering whether they have made the right decision, an angel makes an out of the ordinary apparence and helps Delainey and Loren, while also trying to earn her guardian angel wings.

For those who have seen Pure Flix’s Saved by Grace series, An Angelic Christmas feels like it could follow on or be a part of it. It has the same feel and theme, an angel turns up to help those in need, to bring hope, to bring redemption and to bring forgiveness. This film works well with a wonderful setting and location, along with some twists and turns, humour and emotion in the story. This is an entertaining watch for families together at Christmas and a reminder that not only do angels come in all shapes and sizes but that God can use us in our circumstances to bring about His glory and His plan.

Overall An Angelic Christmas is an enjoyable film and one that feels right at home alongside those yearly Christmas movies that as families we sit down to watch. The message of hope and forgiveness is well displayed and may potentially encourage those seeking reconciliation and forgiveness to do so. With humour, Christmas spirit, family and an angel seeking her wings, this also offers something a little different for all to enjoy.

An Angelic Christmas is a Pure Flix Original Movie and is only available exclusively on the Pure Flix streaming platform.
