Heaven’s War is a powerful, action thriller, that will have you on the edge of your seat as you are gripped throughout the film.

The film follows US senator Jonah Thomas, who is forced into an epic battle somewhere between life and death, heaven and hell. While government agents and terrorists fight for his life in one world, angels and demons wage war for his soul in another. Will he learn the truth and find his way home before it’s too late?

The story is well written and delicately weaves scenes between the world as we know it, and the spiritual realm, where the real battle takes place. It has a CSI feel in the regular world where FBI agents are trying to get to the bottom of a corrupt immunisation plan, while terrorists blow up the hotel room where corrupt politicians are meeting and trying to bring Jonah Thomas onto their side. Once the bomb goes off Jonah is transported to the spiritual realm where he sees the battle for his soul taking place.

This really is a unique and epic film, which features the ultimate battle of good vs evil, the battle that is raging right now for every soul, the battle not against flesh and blood but against the powers of this dark world and the spiritual forces of evil.

The spiritual realm is awesomely created, the special effects are perfect and really bring a believability to the spiritual battle, the film is worth watching just for these scenes.

Not only is the story gripping, and the effects really bring the spiritual world to life, but this is a strong evangelistic movie, the Gospel is presented powerfully, unashamedly and boldly, that visually impacts and answers questions, sometimes without even saying a word.

Based on Ephesians 6:12, Heaven’s War is a powerful, incredible, supernatural thriller, bringing to life the spiritual realm, woven into a gripping story. This film is a must see, not just for the story, or the effects but for the bold, life changing proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
